Goalkeeper Tom Macauley’s work experience deal with Hall Road Rangers has ended and he has returned to Hull City.
The youngster has been outstanding for Hall Rangers and has been a big part of their great form since October.
“All good things come to an end as the saying goes and, unfortunately for ourselves, Tom has been recalled back to Hull City for the foreseeable,” Leon Sewell said.
“First of all, I’d like to thank the likes of Richard Naylor, John Anderson and Neil Sullivan at Hull City for allowing Tom to join us on work experience for the last four months.
“Secondly, I’d like to personally thank Tom for his efforts whilst at our club. He’s a true professional who’s been a a joy to manage and one I’ve enjoyed watching develop and grow in stature.
“The lad has made some unbelievable saves throughout and, most notably, was superb during the North Ferriby game.
“Tom is now approaching the end of his scholarship and I wish him all the very best as he pushes for a professional contract with Hull City.
“I remember my introduction call to Tom and asked what he wanted to achieve with the original work experience only signed for one month. Tom wanted to experience men’s football and work on his communication with the defence.
“Both have been achieved and ticked off successfully. Good luck young man and looking forward to following your future career.”
