Joe Jagger ended up in goal for Emley AFC during the 2-1 defeat to Nathan Jarman’s Barton Town.

Emley’s winning run came to a half in the encounter which saw Jagger place them ahead in the 14th minute.

Tom Waudby equalised quite quickly.

The flashpoint came in the second half when goalkeeper Sam Kelly was shown a red card following a ruckus after a penalty had been awarded to Barton.

Jagger took over between the sticks and Curtis Bateson missed the spot kick by placing it wide.

Unfortunately for Emley, Josh Lacey hit the winner for Barton.

The top of the table clash between Eccleshill United and Grimsby Borough finished goal-less.

Garforth’s Hass Gorji

Garforth Town won 2-0 at top three rivals Sherwood Colliery – Joe Colley and Hass Gorji netted.

Jordan Coduri’s late goal in the 1-0 win at Goole AFC maintained Penistone Church’s push for the top three.
