Halifax maintain pace with top three

FC Halifax Town remain on the heels of the top three after two second half goals earned Pete Wild’s side a 2-0 win at Weymouth.

Tom Bradbury broke the deadlock in the 53rd minute.

Recent signing Zak Dearnley marked his league debut in splendid fashion by scoring in the last minute.

The former Oldham Athletic striker turned home Jamie Thomas’ cross.

None of our National North sides won this weekend.

Bradford (Park Avenue) lost 2-0 at manager-less title-chasers AFC Fylde.

Farsley Celtic were beaten 2-1 at home by Spennymoor Town.

Will Hayhurst missed a penalty, Jimmy Spencer was sent off and Jacob Gratton pulled one back with 17 minutes to go for Farsley.

A late goal denied York City all three points at Hereford in the 1-1 draw.

Michael Woods gave York the lead.
