Local hero Lee Turner fired Garforth Town into the second promotion/play-offs spot.
The 1-0 win at Staveley Miners Welfare sets up the biggest game in Garforth’s history since the Simon Clifford era as the Miners host promotion rivals Eccleshill United next Saturday.
Red hot Winterton Rangers were the team who did Garforth the big favour.
Led by the league’s top goal-scorer Josh Walker, Winterton won 4-1 at Eccleshill.
Zackary Sangster scored Eccleshill’s goal.
Penistone Church’s top two bid stalled for the first time in weeks as they were held to a 1-1 draw at Silsden.
Reece High’s first half goal was cancelled out by Josimar Bradshaw’s late equaliser.
Joe Jagger netted twice as Emley AFC continued their good form with a 5-1 win at Knaresborough Town.
Sam Cook scored for Knaresborough and also opened the scoring for Emley with an own goal.

Goole AFC battled out a goal-less draw at AFC Mansfield.
Thackley were beaten 2-0 at home by Sherwood Colliery while Athersley Rec were hammered 8-0 by champions-elect Grimsby Borough.
