Brighouse Town made history by reaching the West Riding County Cup Final for the first ever time.

Brighouse will play either Albion Sports or Liversedge after sweeping aside a youthful Farsley Celtic in a 4-0 victory at The Citadel.

Vill Powell’s men were too good for Farsley and they raced into a second minute lead.

Jack Boyle netted the opener by scoring from close range.

A Laurence Sorhaindo penalty soon doubled their score.

Brighouse sealed the win with two goals either side of the hour mark.

Khan lobbed the goalkeeper for the third while Sorhaindo headed home Zander Edwards’ cross for number four.

  1. Has anybody got any idea where the final is taking place and when is it.

Liversedge are currently three up at half time. So it makes sense that the game is played in either Calderdale or Kirklees. The two clubs are 3 to 4 miles apart from each other. Brighouse play at Hove Edge near Hipperholme and Liversedge play very close to Cleckheaton at Clayborn.
