Leon Sewell feels Hall Road Rangers have many positives to look back on when the season ends.
Sewell and joint manager Dave Ricardo have steadied Hall Road in their first full season at Haworth Park, arresting the slide from their 2019 relegation.
Hall Road had a tricky start to the campaign but they can now look to the future with an exciting and developing young side.
“If you look at where we come since the Nostell game back in September, we have turned teams over since,” Sewell told Non League Yorkshire.
“We went seven games unbeaten away from home.
“We have come on leaps and bounds and we’re probably paying for it now because we have a small squad and we have senior players missing.
“We have Reece Moody out injured along with Chris Simpkins.
“(At Harrogate Railway last Saturday) we had a 20-year-old in goal, a 19-year-old at right-back, a 16-year-old at left-back, a 16-year-old in centre midfield and on the bench we had three lads under 20s.
“There’s loads of positives which outweigh the negatives 100%.
“We have a platform to build on.
“We’ll keep building and we have six games to go and they’re important games for us because we want to finish as high as we can.”
