Swallownest are safe after Selby Town ended tenants FC Humber United’s hopes of finishing outside the relegation zone.

It was a night to forget for Humber who fell behind to Liam Flanagan’s ninth minute.

Despite pressure Humber were unable to get back into the contest and a flurry of goals around the hour mark sealed the win for Christian Fox’s Selby.

Harry Clapham, Henry Rollinson and a further Flanagan penalty completed the rout.

Humber have two games left and they are seven points behind Swallownest whose recent form has steered them to safety.

Maltby Main striker Layton Swaine

Maltby Main were unable to put to strengthen their top ten hopes as they lost 2-1 at Barton Town.

Layton Swaine scored a second half goal for Maltby.
