Lethal Garforth Town striker James Burgess is Non League Yorkshire’s March player of the month.
Burgess was a massive player for the Miners during March as his goals and assists guided them back into the race for second place.
He began the month by scoring twice in the final few minutes in the dramatic 2-1 win over Handsworth – the second being a overhead goal.
He followed it with the superb assist for Charlie Marshall’s winner against Eccleshill United.
He hit a hat-trick against Athersley Rec before scoring in the last second against Penistone Church and in the fourth minute in the huge clash against Winterton Rangers.
North Ferriby striker Josh Whiteley finished second.
Eccleshill’s Luke Aldrich claimed third spot.
