Luke Forgione has pledged his future to Worsbrough Bridge and is busy planning for next season.
Forgione, seen by many as a rising star in the management world, guided Worsbrough to an impressive ninth-placed finishing n his first full season in charge.
Crowds have risen and Forgione has successfully integrated a vast number of youngsters from the local area into first team.
Ex-Briggers player Forgione was originally appointed in October 2020 after impressing at EV2 Sheffield & Hallamshire County senior League side Houghton Main.
Chairman Mark Booth said: “It was important for both Luke and the club to sit and review the season and talk about the plans and vision for the future. Luke, his management team and players had an excellent season and we are keen to look to build on this as we move into our Centenary Year.
“We have some exciting plans for 2022/23 and 2023/24 and very much wanted Luke to be part of this and continue to build on the good work that has been started.
“With a trip to Germany this summer and some mouthwatering pre-season games to look forward to I am personally extremely pleased that Luke, who is one of the brightest young managers in the league, has shown his commitment to try to push the club forward again next season.
“With investment in our pitch commencing this week, and other work on the club’s infrastructure underway as well as some fantastic new sponsorship confirmed, I am sure that we can all look forward to some exciting times ahead.”
