NPL Division One East
Yorkshire Amateur have confirmed Nathan Cartman as their new manager.
The striker will assume his first position as a number one during an exciting period for the club, several months after becoming player/assistant boss to Craig Ogilvie and Neil Sibson.
Cartman has achieved so much as a player with clubs such as Darlington, Harrogate Railway, Farsley Celtic and Scarborough Athletic and he will be hoping to replicate his playing career successes as a manager.
Ammers chairman Gareth Senior said: “I am delighted to have Nathan on board and his first task is to undo the wrongdoing of last season and get us back to Step 4 where we have shown we can compete.”
The situation is a transition period because he takes charge of a club who are crestfallen following the league and FA’s decision to demote them back to the Northern Counties East League as Bracken Edge does not meet ground grading rules for Step 4.
