York City booked their place in the play-offs semi-finals after beating Chorley 2-1 in front of a packed crowd.
Over 6,000 watched John Askey’s men celebrate a big victory – the largest attendance for a York home fixture since 2007.
The night to remember began with Level John-Lewis lobbing the Chorley goalkeeper from 25 yards.
Connor Hall responded quite quickly for the visitors.
But this was York’s night and Mitch Hancox broke clear and fired home the winner four minutes into the second half.
York will now visit Brackley Town on Saturday, vying for a place in the final.
