Highly-rated centre-back Jack Steers will be back wearing the Pontefract Collieries jersey next season.
Steers recently left league champions and West Riding County Cup winners Liversedge.
The former Hemsworth Miners Welfare great spent time on loan at the Colls in January.
Steers, who is likely to form a formidable centre-back partnership with Spencer Clarke or emerging youngster Jack Shepherd, strengthens Craig Rouse’s defence as he builds his squad for next season.
He is third signing in a week behind James Baxendale and Jake Picton.
