Promoted York City have released 14 of the squad of players who propelled them back into the top flight of Non League Football.
Key striker Clayton Donaldson and long-serving Sean Newton, who spent the latter part of the season at Buxton, are among those who are departing.
John Askey is certainly leading a major overhaul of the York squad and also leaving are Matty Brown, Maison Campbell, Lewis Cunningham, Jack Degruchy, Mackenzie Heaney, Luke Jones, Josh King, Remy Longdon, Jack McKay, Reon Potts, Archie Whitfield and Kurt Willoughby.
Scott Barrow, Olly Dyson, Jonny Haase, Pete Jameson, Max Kouhyar, Paddy McLaughlin, Ryan Whitley and Aki Wright have been offered new deals.
Michael Duckworth and Michael Woods have been invited back for pre-season.
On loan promotion hero Lenell John-Lewis has been offered a contract with York along with Mitch Hancox.
