NPL Division One East
Another one of Yorkshire Amateur’s players from last season is sticking around.
Despite their forced relegation back to the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division, most of the team have pledged to stay.
The latest is right-sided player Steve Smith, the brother of former Pontefract Collieries player Scott.
Smith has been with the Ammers for several years and he joins the likes of Adam Priestley, James Beaston, Luke Sharry, Roy Fogarty, Max Culverwell and several others in committing to Nathan Cartman.
Cartman has also confirmed his side’s pre-season schedule.
The Ammers make the long trip to Skegness Town on the 2nd July for their first match.
Clashes with Harrogate Railway, Glasshoughton Welfare, Thackley, Campion, Albion Sports and Scarborough Athletic follow.
