Toolstation NCEL Premier Division
One of the most prolific Non League strikers from Bradford has committed himself to Thackley.
Former Bradford (Park Avenue) forward Tom Greaves will be leading the line for Paddy McGuire’s side next season after leaving North West Counties League First Division North champions Bury AFC.
He will also be McGuire’s assistant manager.
Greaves’ record of over 300 goals is outstanding.
After breaking into the Avenue team at 16 during the Carl Shutt era, the striker has played for FC United of Manchester, Ossett Town, Garforth Town, Bury and Ossett United.
His claim to fame is scoring the last minute of Roy of the Rovers extra-time winner for Avenue against FC United in the 2012 NPL Premier Division play-off final.
He also had a year-long spell as player/manager of FC United several years ago.
Thackley have also captured Aiden Chippendale who has left Bury.
