EV2 Sheffield & Hallamshire County Senior League Premier Division
Interim chief Donavan Cotton has been appointed the permanent manager of Houghton Main.
He is joined in the dugout by his assistant, the former Ossett Town and Belper Town first team coach Keith Mackie who returns to the club after a spell there last season.
Cotton was a shoe-in for the job after inspiring a stunning run of form from the moment he replaced Nathan Simms.
He won four of five after Simms departed, including the sensational 4-3 win at title-chasing Dodworth Miners Welfare.
Cotton is Houghton’s fourth permanent manager since the summer of 2020, following in the footsteps of Luke Forgione, Jimmy Whitehead and Simms.
Houghton are now preparing for the opening rounds of the League Cup in August which is acting as the pre-curser to the league campaign which begins in September.
