NPL Division One East
A highly-rated young attacker from the Toolstation NCEL Division One has signed for Brighouse Town.
Rossington Main striker Myron Gibbons is bound to have been tracked by several clubs, but Brighouse have won his signature.
Pacy Gibbons ripped sides apart last season, playing a key role in Rossington’s surprise surge to the play-offs.
He scored eight times and notably scored a quick-fire hat-trick in the memorable comeback and shock win over Stocksbridge Park Steels in the Sheffield & Hallamshire Senior Cup.
Assistant manager Stacy Wales said: “We are over the moon to get this one over the line. We have watched Myron a few times and he’s got great potential.
“He’ll bring pace, power and goals to the team which is an area we need to improve on.”
Gibbons is the latest player from Rossington who has gone higher during Ben Hunter’s reign.
