New Eccleshill United manager Ryan Toulson has appointed a former comrade as his assistant.
Former FC Halifax Town and Guiseley great Danny Lowe will be joining Toulson in the dugout when the Bradford-based side begin their new era.
The pair’s career’s basically followed the trajectory as they played together at Harrogate Town, FC Halifax Town, Guiseley and then Bradford (Park Avenue).
They enjoyed great success throughout.
Lowe finished his playing career with Emley AFC.
Lowe said: “I’m excited and looking forward to the opportunity to working with Ryan and for a good club like Eccleshill.
“Ryan and myself have known each other for many years and have played at a lot of clubs together where we enjoyed a lot of success and promotion.
“We know how each other work and have the same view and approach to football and so when he asked me I would like to come and join him it was a no brainer.”
