Chris Bolder says Premier Division new-boys North Ferriby are still actively recruiting.
Just three new signings have been announced by Ferriby since their promotion from Division One.
Higher level players Danny Earl and Liam Dickens along with Glasshoughton Welfare striker Lewis Stephens are the new arrivals.
Bolder says Ferriby are not finished.
“At the minute we could do with bringing in one or two maximum,” Bolder told Non League Yorkshire.
“But we are really happy with the squad we have assembled so far.
“We have a lot of strength-in-depth in most positions all over the field.
“I think we are a little light in one position in particular and if we didn’t get a particular player in then we would have to be really actively recruiting for that particular position.
“We have a couple of things in the pipeline and we should have more of idea soon where we will go with it.”
Ferriby fielded some of their trialists in the 1-0 defeat at Selby Town on Saturday.
“We have some players who were unavailable (for Selby) but they are back for next Saturday and we’re excited to see them,” he said.
“We have five (trialists) lads who are training with us and we saw a few of them (against Selby).
“We’ll keep running the rule over them.”
Ferriby lost out to a first half goal from Liam Flanagan and like most managers, Bolder was unfazed by a pre-season defeat.
“We used 22 players,” he said.
“We had a number of lads who have been training with us and we class them a trialists.
“I think everyone says the same thing in pre-season – you want to win every game of football but I think that materialises the closer you get to the season.
“I think these early games are definitely more about fitness and pattens of play and understanding as well utilising players and getting minutes in their legs.
“You can all your different runs and drills in training but nothing replicates playing against another side who is determined to get the result as well.”
