Mike Thompson’s recruitment drive at Bridlington Town has stepped up in pace with further additions.

Experienced defender Matty Plummer is staying and that is a huge boost for Thompson.

Midfielder Eddie Rogerson is the seventh and final retained player from last season.

Arriving at Brid is former Pontefract Collieries defender Noah Stokes.

Midfielder Jack Griffin returns to Brid and reunites with Thompson who he played for at Beverley Town.

Jack Yates, an attacker who has relocated to the area, signs for the club from Woolford Town.

Goalkeeper James Hitchcock will have competition for his spot as Rasmus Kriisa has signed.

Local lad Cam Connelly has been given chance to impress.

The last signing to be announced is Bottesford Town defender Harry Webster.

Brid’s pre-season fixture campaign kicks off with the Dave Holland Memorial Match against Scarborough Athletic at Queensgate on Thursday.
