Steeton boosted by committals ahead of first friendly

Steeton finally kick off their pre-season campaign this afternoon boosted by the arrival of one new signing and a host of retentions.

Steeton host Heyside at Marley Stadium and many of last season’s squad will be on show.

Striker Andy Briggs and Toby Jeffrey are the latest players to commit along with Alistair Morgan, Kymarley Vincent and goalkeeper Jordan Moorhouse.

Midfielders Josh McKiernon and Joe Snowden have also pledged their futures to Steeton.

The new player is George Mwale who joins the club from Eccleshill United.
