Quartet sign for Swallownest

Swallownest manager Alex Nightingale

A quartet of new signings have checked into Alex Nightingale’s Swallownest, including a former Bradford City player.

Leighton Sawyers, the defender or midfield, looks to settle at Swall’ after spells with Worsbrough Bridge and Brighouse Town last season.

Centre-back James Bytheway adds strength to their back four.

He is known in the NCEL for his stints with Armthorpe Welfare and Rossington Main.

Alex Nightingale welcomes Cameron Hawkes to Swallownest

Dan Payne, another centre-back, has played for Swallownest before and he is back to compete for them.

The final signing is Cameron Hawkes, the ex-Bradford midfielder who made two League One appearances during the 2018/19 season.

Swallownest are away at Brighouse Town on Tuesday night in the Yorkshire Trophy.
