Steeton 1-4 Silsden
A dominant second half performance earned Silsden bragging rights over local rivals Steeton.
The scores had been all square at half-time after an even first 45 minutes.
Silsden drew first blood as Brooksbank fired in from close range.
Steeton responded quickly and Andy Briggs forced his way towards goal and sent a low drive past the Silsden goalkeeper.
Steeton’s second half performance was disappointing.
Roy Mason’s men wilted in the sun and gifted their visitors three goals.
The floodgates opened in the 65th minute – Lamin Janwah capitalising on a defensive mistake.
A similar mistake then allowed Janwah to score again several minutes later.
The fourth goal came after goalkeeper Jordan Moorhouse spilled a long range effort into his own net.
