Armthorpe Welfare have confirmed their first set of retained players ahead of the big July 30th kick off.

Action man Jack Wilson is back for a second season after impressing in his debut campaign for Lee Morris’ Armthorpe.

The ex-Worsbrough Bridge fans favourite played 37 times for Armthorpe.

His long-term comrade Jack Mawson will continue to lead the line for Armthorpe and he is hoping to have an injury-free season.

Ex-Maltby Main striker Jamie Austin made an instant impression with nine goals in 15 games last season so his committal is a big boost to Morris.

Midfielder Ashley McEwan and defender Jordan Woodhall have also committed.

Armthorpe are next in action on Friday when they host Frickley Athletic.
