Ian Richards has taken on one of his Stocksbridge Park Steels trialists.
Right-back Bailey Tye Baker signed on before the 2-2 draw with Emley AFC on Friday night after a success trial.
He does already have Non League experience as he has played for Lincoln United and Spalding United.
He has also been a Barnsley shadow scholar alongside Alex O’Connor and Jack Tinker.
The Steels are next in action when they host Grant Black’s Belper Town on Wednesday night.
