Owen Wildblood is back at Worsbrough Bridge

Worsbrough Bridge manager Luke Forgione has brought back a former defender.

Owen Wildblood was one of Forgione’s first signings back in October 2020 and started last season with the Briggers.

He scored the winner in the opening day win at Hall Road Rangers but that was his only appearance of the campaign.

Wildblood then spent the rest of the season playing for Scott Briggs’ Penistone Church Reserves in the EV2 Sheffield & Hallamshire County Senior League Premier Division.

But he has returned to Park Road and has been playing for Worsbrough during pre-season.

He was also part of the squad which flew out to Germany.

Worsbrough lost 2-1 at Penistone Church on Wednesday night.

Their next friendly is at Hemsworth Miners Welfare on Saturday.
