One of Tadcaster Albion’s young stars has won a deal with Danny Ellis’ Guiseley after a successful trial.
Donald Chimalilo was a key player for Tadcaster last season, earning rave reviews despite his tender years.
The youngster has impressed during Guiseley’s friendlies and he has been snapped up after hitting the winner in the club’s 1-0 win over National League new-boys York City.
Chimalilo told Guiseley’s website: “I set out to make an impact by coming in and trying to do my best. I knew Guiseley coach Martin Foster from my time at Tadcaster and he recommended me to Guiseley.
“He told me that I would enjoy it at Guiseley and after only a few games I know that I will. I was immediately made welcome by everyone at the club, the players, the staff, the fans and everyone who works for the club.”
