Jimmy Whitehead has signed two of his Athersley Rec trialists on.
Ricky Berry and Jordan Spencer committed following the late 2-1 win over Frickley Athletic on Wednesday.
Berry has previously played for Wombwell Main, Bank End and Houghton Main in the Sheffield & Hallamshire County Senior League
Whitehead said: “Both lads have worked really hard during pre season and have put in strong performances in the games.
“They both also bring healthy competition for places which is what we want. Something we lacked last season. Their also big characters in the changing room which is also big for us “
