Thackley have signed one of North Ferriby’s Wembley FA Trophy winners.
Jason St Juste has continued Paddy McGuire’s extensive summer recruitment just in time for the new campaign.
The left-winger has played for the likes of Garforth Town, Farsley Celtic and FC Halifax Town.
St Juste was the man fo the match when Ferriby beat Wrexham in the 2015 FA Trophy Final.
He also played for Darlington in the Football League during the early years of his career.
Thackley host Golcar United on the opening day on Saturday.
