Guiseley have handed a deal to a Welsh under 19s international following a successful trial.
Ethen Vaughan, a right-back, will be lining up for the Lions during the first season back in the NPL.
Vaughan has been on the books of Huddersfield Town, Norwich City and Burnley prior to a loan spell at Farsley Celtic last season.
Vaughan told Guiseley’s website: “I had trials at Buxton, Halifax, Dunfermline and Altrincham before I trialled at Guiseley this pre-season but I enjoyed it at Guiseley.
“The players and staff really made me feel welcome.
“This is a great opportunity that has been given to me and I can see that there is a future for the club and that they are ready to bounce back to National League North. I want to be a part of that.
Guiseley have named recent signing and former Barnsley player George Smith as their new captain.
