Thackley manager Paddy McGuire has named his club captain for the new season.
Ste Crawford has only been with Thackley for a couple of weeks but he’s already been thrust into a position of authority as he’s the new skipper.
Crawford was a Yorkshire Amateur stalwart until leaving along with the rest of Nathan Cartman’s squad following the takeover by a group of local people.
Crawford’s first match as the on-pitch head honcho is against Golcar United on the opening day.
