A double from Iyrwah Gooden earned Emley a 2-0 win over Hallam and continued Richard Tracey’s side’s positive start to the campaign.

Emley were ahead at the break as Gooden had fired home the loose ball after Scott Smith’s free kick was not cleared.

Gooden added his second goal with 20 minutes to go.

Hallam were handed a penalty to potentially set-up a dramatic final ten minutes.

However, Brandon Bradbury placed the spot kick over the crossbar.
