Non League great Craig Elliott is back in management after a six month hiatus following his departure from Boston United.
Eliott is the new manager of Matlock Town who recently parted company with Paul Phillips.
Elliott takes charge of an ambitious club with aspirations of winning promotion to the National North.
He inherits a strong squad which includes his former captain Ryan Qualter.
Elliott is the most successful West Yorkshire-based Non League manager of the last 15 years.
He led Glasshoughton Welfare to promotion and the Wilkinson Sword Trophy in his first job at Step 6.
He did a fantastic job at Ossett Town before the incredible success at Shaw Lane AFC where he won three promotions in four years whilst also winning the Sheffield & Hallamshire Senior Cup and reaching the FA Cup First Round.
He moved to Boston in late 2017 and did an outstanding job.
