Whitby Town have announced the resignation of joint manager Lee Bullock from his footballing duties at the Turnbull Ground.
Bullock stood down after the 6-0 home defeat to Gainsborough Trinity last night.
Nathan Haslam has taken sole charge of the team and his first game on his own will be the home FA Cup clash against Marske United on Saturday.
Whitby have yet to win a league game this season.
Bullock will remain the club’s commercial manager, continuing his long association with the club which goes back to August 2013 when he joined them as a player.
He became assistant boss to Chris Hardy in November 2015 before becoming joint manager with Haslam in September 2020.
A statement said: “Both parties agreed following the Gainsborough Trinity defeat that a fresh voice and perspective was needed in the changing rooms going forwards…
“The club would like to place on record their thanks to Bullock for his outstanding contribution on both the playing and management side over the last nine years.”
