Stocksbridge Park Steels 2-2 Ashinghton
Mitch Langton’s late equaliser has handed Stocksbridge Park Steels a second bite of the cherry in their quest to reach the FA Cup fourth qualifying round.
Ross Goodwin’s diving header placed the Steels just after the hour mark.
However, Ashington responded straightaway through Lee Mason and then Ben Harmison fired them ahead.
Stocksbridge had to throw caution to the wind as the minutes ticked away and eventually Langton continued his hot streak in the FA Cup with the equaliser.
