Handsworth score nine past the Ammers

Mitch Dunne got a hat-trick as red hot Handsworth steam-rolled Yorkshire Amateur in a 9-1 hammering at Olivers’ Mount.

The Ammers actually took the lead in the contest through Sam Pickles but once as Dunne equalised, the floodgates opened.

Elliott Walker, Jimmy Eyles, Leon Howarth (2), Johnathan Williams and Joe Parkin chipped in.

Garforth Town’s brilliant form continued with the 4-0 demolition of Eccleshill United.

James Burgess got two goals and Liam Woods and Matt Antcliffe got one each.

Frickley Athletic midfielder George Green

George Green’s spectacular free kick earned Frickley Athletic all three points from their trip to Golcar United.

Szymon Czubik also netted in the 2-1 victory.

Buddy Cox got Golcar’s goal.

North Ferriby striker and 2021/22 Non League Yorkshire player of the year Josh Whiteley

Talent Ndlovu and Luke Brooksbank steered Silsden to their 2-0 win over Albion Sports.

Lewis Stephens rescued a point for seven-unbeaten Maltby Main who drew 1-1 with Goole AFC at Muglet Lane.

Ollie Russon had given Goole the lead.

Penistone Church were beaten 2-1 at title-chasing Barton Town.

Nathan Keightley converted a penalty in the last minute for Church.
