Toolstation NCEL Division One
Nostell Miners Welfare manager Ian Walker says there is little difference between the majority of the sides in the league.
The Division is extremely close from third downwards – only ten points separate fifth bottom with fifth place.
“I’m going to put Campion to one side but looking at the league, everyone else of who we have played from second to second bottom, I wouldn’t put a pound on any game,” Walker told Non League Yorkshire.
“I wouldn’t bet on any game.
“It seems to me if you score first and you get your tails up, most teams win no matter who you are.
“If you look at the league table it is unbelievable (how close it is).
“You can be near the bottom and you win two games you can be top six.
“We had a tricky start and the teams we played at the start were always going to be tricky for us even if we were at our best and so it proved.
“Now like everyone else we’re looking at the league table and looking at where another three or six points can take us.”
Nostell visit Beverley Town this evening.
