Dave Ricardo’s Beverley Town have signed a defender from the Northern Premier League.
Bridlington Town captain Matty Plummer has joined Beverley ahead of the trip to Harrogate Railway.
The ex-Scarborough Athletic player used to play for Ricardo at Barton Town.
Ricardo said: “Matty is someone I have been lucky to have worked with previously at Barton and he has been one of the top experienced at all levels of the Non League pyramid since leaving the professional game.
“That experience will help our youthful squad no end and the strong following will his quality week in week out.”
