Horbury Town continued their brilliant form by stunning local rivals Wakefield AFC in front of over 500 people in Featherstone.

Both goals in the 2-0 victory were scored on early.

Sam Kyeremeh opened the scoring before James Cusworth silenced the home support by firing home a free kick.

Wakefield’s Morgan Butcher and Horbury’s Luke Playford were sent off later on following an altercation.

Harley Holt scored twice for Worsbrough Bridge

Worsbrough Bridge lifted themselves out of the bottom three after coming back from 2-0 down to win 5-3 against Ollerton Town.

Conor Glavin and Harley Holt’s doubles helped Worsbrough over the line.

Colossal defender Luke Danville also netted.

Ryan Cooper’s Selby Town lost 4-1 at Staveley Miners Welfare.

Liam Flanagan was Selby’s goal-scorer.

Kyle Fish and Dan Davison were sent off late-on for Selby.

Swallownest picked up an impressive 3-1 win over high-flying Retford FC.

Swallownest were trailing until the hour mark when Sam Jones equalised before Jack Haslam and Mark Adiele rode them to victory.
