Leaders Dodworth Miners Welfare had to bide their time against second bottom South Kirkby Colliery in their 2-0 win.

It took an early second half top corner rocket from 32 yards from Danny Barlow to cut the tension.

Even then the game remained in the balance until target man Matt Jacobs scored Dodworth’s second in the closing minutes.
