Brighouse return for midfielder

Brighouse Town have brought back a midfielder for a third spell with the club.

Josh Grant has left Tadcaster Albion to return to Vill Powell’s side after a short spell away.

Grant is a popular figure at Brighouse.

He is also the scorer of one of their greatest goals.

Against Runcorn Linnets in October 2020, Grant scored a 50-yard volley.

Footage went viral and was enjoyed by millions. It is still talked about on a weekly basis across West Yorkshire.

He rejoins Brighouse two days after their 6-0 hammering of Pontefract Collieries.

Brighouse host Long Eaton United on Saturday.
