Dodworth Miners Welfare have made a coup signing in an ex-Manchester United youngster.
Striker Zak Dearnley, who has played for Liversedge and Buxton this season has heavily strengthened Dodworth’s squad.
His arrival helps Dodworth cope with Jack and Liam Owen’s suspensions.
Dodworth host Handsworth Reserves on Saturday.
Dearnley played in the Football League for Oldham Athletic across two spells before his short stint with Halifax during the second half of last season.
He was once as unused substitute in a Premier League fixture in 2017 during Jose Mourinho’s reign at United.
