Resurgent Goole AFC have signed a new goalkeeper on a short term loan arrangement.
Pontefract Collieries stopper Lloyd Allinson has joined Simon Houghton’s men.
His capture is a big boost to Goole who are making huge strides in their battle to avoid the drop.
Allinson arrives ahead of the clash with high-flying Emley AFC.
Rothwell-born Allinson came through the youth ranks at Huddersfield Town and made one first team appearance for the Terriers in May 2016.
He then played five times for Chesterfield in the Football League after his release from Huddersfield.
He dropped into Non League Football with FC United of Manchester in 2017 and he spent two years with them.
He has since moved about a bit and played for the likes of Guiseley, Ashton United, Gainsborough Trinity and Scarborough Athletic.
