Harrogate Railway manager Lee Ashforth is undaunted by the run of tough fixtures

Lee Ashforth is undaunted by the identities of Harrogate Railway’s next few opponents.

Railway travel to Warrington Town tomorrow before facing Bamber Bridge, Northwich Victoria and Scarborough Athletic. They finish the month by playing Brighouse Town and Clitheroe.

Ashforth said: “When you look at the league, there’s not an easy game and we have said that all year.

“You look at the run of games it is extremely difficult.

“We look at that and then look at the run of games in November against teams in the bottom half.

“We have only played two teams in the bottom half of the league since the start of the season.

“That was Mossley and Radcliffe and we beat both of them.

“We have played some of the top sides in the league and even the sides who have beaten us like Burscough and Ossett Albion, they’re up there near the play-offs.

“It is important we’re don’t get too excited or too despondent at the teams we are playing.”
