Shaw Lane Aquaforce backed up the superb Stafford Rangers result by cantering to a 3-0 victory at Market Drayton Town.
Aquaforce beat the Evo Stik Division One South leaders last week, but Craig Elliott’s needed to prove that wasn’t fluke by winning at Market Drayton.
The Barnsley-based were straight out of the blocks and had their hosts on the rack from the start.
In-form striker Gavin Allott ended the period of pressure by scoring on 13 minutes.
Market Drayton tried their best, but Aquaforce had too much for them and Adam Priestley’s run set-up Jono Wafula with the opportunity to score the second before half-time.
The victory was sealed in the closing stages when new defender Adam Jones headed home at the back-post.
Shaw Lane Aquaforce (starting line-up): Deakin, Stohrer, O’Brien, Towey, Jones, Radford, Wafula, Thornhill, Allott, Priestley, Davidson.
