Tadcaster’s pitch is flooded

The big FA Vase second round tie between Tadcaster Albion and Worksop Town has been postponed because of flooding at the i2i Sports Stadium.

The pitch has been under water for the whole week.

The match is now scheduled to take place on Tuesday at Tadcaster if the pitch is playable.

Don’t despair if that was your intended game as Handsworth Parramore’s tie with local rivals Hallam is still on and is set to be a cracker.

Ryan Hindley’s Hallam have yet to lose at home this season, but higher-league Handsworth have a formidable record at Sandy Lane this season.

If a trip to Sandy Lane is too far for you, Hemsworth’s home tie with Sunderland RCA is the other FA Vase clash taking place in Yorkshire.
