Ossett Albion climbed into the Evo Stik Division One North play-offs spots after winning 1-0 at Trafford.
Luke Porritt scored the important goal as Albion also record their fifth consecutive league victory.
It took the same amount of minutes to score the only goal. Porritt, on loan from Guiseley for a month, fired home at the back-post from a cross from the left.
Albion enjoyed a relatively comfortable afternoon at times. Connor Brunt tested Trafford’s goalkeeper with a stinging effort before Trafford’s best period of pressure.
Albion’s search for a second goal was unfruitful as Danny South headed straight at goalkeeper Russ Saunders. In-form striker Rob Bordman also went close on two occasions.
Fortunately the second goal wasn’t needed as Trafford failed to break down a resolute Albion defence.
