Their Integro Doodson League Cup tie at Spennymoor may have been postponed for the third time, but Ossett Town boss Graham Nicholas has ensured that it has been a productive day at Ingfield.

Nicholas has one new signing – midfielder Brad Riley, who joins from Sheffield FC.

Riley played for Frickley and Pontefract Collieries this season before a brief spell with Sheffield.

He is set to make his debut for Ossett in Saturday’s home Evo Stik Division One North clash with Farsley Celtic.

The visit of Farsley will also be Simon Rogers’ first as the new captain of Ossett.

Rogers replaces Steven Jeff who left to join Frickley Athletic last week.
