Mick Godber has been placed in temporary charge of Handsworth Parramore after Peter Duffield’s departure.
Duffield’s exit spells the end of a 15-month stint at the helm of Parramore. He leaves the club in seventh-place in the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division table and in the running for the league title.
Handsworth’s statement said: “We would like to place on record our sincere thanks to Peter for his contribution and efforts during his time here at Handsworth and we wish Peter and his family all the very best in the future.”
Duffield will be remembered for leading the Sandy Lane club to NCEL League Cup glory back in May when Parramore scored three times in the final six minutes to come from 3-1 down to win 4-3.
Weather-permitting, Handsworth are due to visit Pickering Town on Saturday.
