Nick Thompson and George Conway have temporarily left Tadcaster Albion to gain some much-needed match fitness.
Former captain Thompson was injured at the start of the season and has struggled to break in Billy Miller’s first eleven since recovering. He played for local neighbours Selby Town in their home 4-2 to Dronfield Town.
Winger Conway scored on his debut for Garforth Town, who suffered a heavy 5-1 defeat at Pickering Town. Conway, the scorer of a number of wonder goals for Tad this season, has also been a regular substitute since November.
Both are expected to return to Tadcaster, who are likely to face a busy schedule for the rest of the season because of the damage caused by the bad weather.
